The magnificent west front of Exeter Cathedral is dominated by a Decorated Gothic screen begun in c1340 and completed nearly a century later. It features three tiers of weathered sculptures, which include the rulers Alfred, Athelstand, Canute, Willliam the Conqueror and Richard II.
