Cornwall is a county in the South West of England, next to the county of Devon, bounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the English Channel. Cornwall forms the tip of the South-West peninsula where there are long stretches of the coast owned by the National Trust or are otherwise protected from commercial development. Temperatures are warm in summer and relatively mild in winter. Cornwall is a very popular tourist destination for overseas and UK visitors and tourism provides a major source of income for the county. There are many beautiful small fishing ports such as St. Ives, Mousehole and Padstow.
