A picturesque former whaling town on the east coast. Captain James Cook sailed from here to discover Eastern Australia. Bram Stoker's famous novel 'Dracula' was also set in Whitby.
Recommended: Walk up the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey and St. Mary's Church, then back down to the town for Fish & Chips!
